About Us

Keith Pallett began his career in 1978 with NatWest Bank in branch banking. In 1984, he moved into the asset finance industry with Mercantile Credit, which was part of the Barclays Banking Group, and has worked in asset finance ever since. His career also included roles at Bank of Scotland (1991–1994) and Sovereign Finance (1994–2002).

In 2002, Keith founded Premier Business Finance to offer customers a much wider range of services than was possible within a single financial organisation. The decision came at the time of September 11th 2021, when some lenders withdrew from the market—particularly for engineering companies, which at the time made up most of his customer base.

Since then, the business has expanded from serving a specific region to supporting clients across the entire UK, helping companies in a broad range of industries access the finance they need.

In 2011, Keith’s youngest daughter, Eva, joined Premier Business Finance after completing her A-levels, continuing the family tradition with a career in asset finance.

Over the years, we have built strong partnerships with customers direct and also suppliers, working closely to boost sales and help get deals across the finish line
